Three types of Hajj - You Should Know

Hajj al- Ifrad:

Who's performing Hajj-e-Ifrad that person is called Mufrid.

One will enter in the state of Ihraam and with the Niyyah of performing Hajj alone but before passing through Miqaat (the place for assuming Ihraam)

Mufrid can don't combine Umrah with their Hajj.

Hajj e Ifrad is the only kind of Hajj allowed for the residents of Makkah the hills (those who between reside Miqaat and the precincts of haram) Like Jeddah.

Hajj-e-Qiran:

Qiran means to combine two things. Who pilgrim performs this kind of hajj combines hajj and Umrah.

A Qiran after performing Umrah (the person who's performing Hajj-e-Qiran) perform will hajj with that same Ihraam.

Hajj al- Tamattu:

literally, Tamattu means to enjoy and take advantage of a facility. Who performs Hajj-e-Tamattu a pilgrim combines both Umrah and Hajj. A difference between Hajj-e-Tamattu and Hajj-e-Qiran that after performing Umrah, Mutamatti (the person who performs Hajj-e-Tamattu) his/her relinquishes Ihram and on the 8th of Dhul Hijjah he/she resumes that Ihram.
